Deborah's Girls Story

I've been working on Deborah's Girls for about a year in a half. My sister Sharon has been encouraging me every step of the way. Recently we have been working together full time. We go out to different areas of Atlanta and share our mothers legacy. People would purchase a bracelet. After a week of my sister joining me full time we begin to come across divine connections. The devil was mad! We started to get rejected where ever we went. No sales at all! At that time we begin to question if we should be focusing on Deborah's Girls full time. I started sending our story to different networks. My first choice was Steve Harvey. I always dreamed of Sharing our story with him, He's very inspirational.  I then sent it to our local news station Fox 5 Atlanta. Here is what I submitted below,

Hello, my name is Lashonda McNeil. I'm 26 years old a mother of 4 children. I'm currently going through a divorce, I was a housewife for years. I came up with Deborah's Girls. It is named after my mother Deborah McNeil. I make things like bracelets, earrings, diaper cakes, and home décor.  My sister Sharon McNeil is my partner she recently let go of her job. She woke up one morning and said she had dream that my mother was worry about me giving up. My mother ask her in the dream to make sure I do not give up. With that being said, she decided to make that sacrifice to let her job go. Sharon plays a big role in Deborah's Girls. Sharon took the responsibility of raising my niece Canderia Miller after my mother passed. Canderia was born with cerebral palsy. Her Mother passed two weeks after delivering her. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She was only 17. Sharon took care of Canderia for a 11 years. She was only 22 when she took on the responsibility. We came up with a campaign Let's Help Canderia to raise money for a handicapped equipped van. Sadly, we weren’t able to succeed. Canderia passed February 3, 2016 at the age of 19. I started bracelets to give back to the supporters that donated to her campaign. Out of those bracelets we came up with a way to keep our mother's name alive. We dedicated a collection to Canderia It’s called the CanCan collection. We really hope that you guys come across this story and share it.

The night of me submitting our story, we were very disappointed on the out come of the past week.
I didn't know what to say to really encourage my sister as she was also going through grief. I just knew God would help us. I woke up the next morning to a email of someone purchasing a big order online. I knew that was our confirmation that we should continue focusing on Deborah's Girls. Later that day I received another email, this time it was from a reporter from Fox 5 Atlanta wanting to share Our story for Mother's day. I was so excited! I praised God, Just Thankful for the opportunity to share our story with others.  Don't despise small beginnings Zechariah 4:10. Never give up on the vision God has given you. God will give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

Your gift

When God gives us a gift we have to pursue just that. I prayed that God would allow me to find what I was good at. Years ago I didn't know I had a talent. Days I would get depressed, I didn't think I was good at anything. I thought I would be a housewife forever. Unfortunately my marriage came crumbling down. God knew I became co-dependent on my husband. I put so much faith in him instead of God. God is our provider not man. When my eyes was opened to my gift, I started to pursue it. I invested time and money, things moved very slow. At the time I had confidence that my business would blossom. While going through a divorce I had to leave my home. I became detached  from my business. I started to feel like something was missing. I would have dreams of me mailing off orders and other signs that I should step back into pursuing the gift God gave me.  Going through financially I had to find a job. My life was changing everyday. I was overwhelmed with the divorce

Dreamer

I found out I was a dreamer 14 years ago. Sometimes it feels like a gift and a curse. My first dream experience I was 14 years old and it was a horrible experience. I went to sleep after a nose bleed my mother wanted me to stay home from school. As I dreamed I realized my mother in the dream didn’t return from dropping my brothers  off to school. Our home phone started to ring in the dream, it was the police calling to inform us of a accident. In real life the same time the phone was ringing  in the dream, my sister busted into the room screaming my mother didn’t wake up out of her sleep. I screamed to the top of my lungs I didn't know what I was experiencing. I rushed to my mothers  room she was not breathing. I tried to Perform CPR on her it  wasn’t successful. My nose started to bleed again, I started to panic. The ambulance came they were able to revive her. She was in a coma for two years and later passed June 17, 2007. After realizing I had a dream about my mother and i

Free secret to fading visible stretch marks

I'm a mother of four. After my first born I suffered from stretch marks. I was devastated! I was a teenager so you can imagine I still wanted to show off my belly. I started doing research to find products that best fit my skin type. Applyng the right product definitely has to be identified by your skin type. Is your skin dry, oily, or do you suffer from eczema? My skin is dry. I had to change my soap, I was using dial I switched to dove. Dial being that I had dry skin, dried my skin after showering. My next step was to exfoliate before showering. Here are some great products for exfoliating, St. Ives Apricot Scrub Sugar Scrub Exfoliating gloves or brush " Make sure you are Exfoliating in a circular motion. It produces new skin cells" Next on the list is lotions and creams that provide collagen and elastin. Collagen - the main structural protein found in skin and other connective tissues.
